Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide services in an elementary school setting. This contract position is intended to cover a leave of absence, running from February 7, 2025, through May 13, 2026. The role is based in Commerce, GA, and primarily involves delivering school-based speech therapy for a caseload of approximately 55 elementary students.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Georgia SLP licensure (must be presented upon application)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students in school settings
  • Ability to manage and provide therapy for a caseload of 55 students
  • Proficiency in both in-person and virtual therapy sessions

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide speech-language therapy to elementary students
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student communication goals
  • Flexibility to deliver therapy sessions in-person with openness to virtual options

Location:

  • Elementary school located in Commerce, Georgia

Schedule:

  • Full time, up to 37.5 hours per week
  • Contract duration: February 7, 2025, to May 13, 2026
