Position: RN-Oncology (Travel/Contract)

We're hiring experienced RN-Oncology for a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina — earn up to ($1930 - $2032 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other medications to oncology patients.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

• Engage in performance metrics to track personal and team success.

• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.

• Evaluate patient responses to treatments and adjust care plans accordingly.

• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and side effects.

• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

• Assist in the development of care plans tailored to individual patient needs.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Experience/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina with oncology certification preferred.

• Experience in administering chemotherapy and managing oncology patient care.

• Strong communication skills for patient and family education.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams effectively.

• Proficient in using electronic health records for documentation.

• Ability to monitor vital signs and respond to patient changes.

• Familiarity with safety protocols and infection control measures.

• Strong emotional intelligence to support patients and families.

• Experience in quality improvement initiatives in healthcare.
