Our client, manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Press Operator to join their team. As a Press Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, safety consciousness, and teamwork, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Press Operator
Location: Alexandria, MN
Pay Range: $20+/hour
Shifts: B shift (Monday-Wednesday, 6:30 PM-6:30 AM, Thursday, 6:30 PM- 12:30 AM)
D Shift (Friday, 12:30 AM-6:30 AM, Friday-Sunday, 6:30 PM-6:30 AM)
What's the Job?
- Operate saws and extrusion presses to produce aluminum shapes according to customer specifications
- Move materials and dies efficiently within the production area
- Participate in 5S initiatives to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Support quality control processes by inspecting parts and surface finishes
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to promote a safe work environment
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to read die drawings and inspect parts according to specifications
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
