Join a fast-growing air-cooled heat exchanger manufacturer as our Quality Control Manager. You'll lead all quality assurance and control activities, ensure ASME code compliance, and maintain top product standards while supporting on-time delivery.
What You'll Do
-
Lead and maintain the company's Quality Control & Quality Assurance Program
-
Ensure compliance with ASME Section VIII Div. 1, Section IX, and related codes (API 661, AWS D1.1, CSA, etc.)

Manage QC inspection team and daily inspection activities
-
Schedule and coordinate with Authorized Inspectors (AI) for code hold points
-
Oversee NDE, PWHT, and other external quality processes
-
Develop and qualify WPS/PQRs and maintain welder performance records
-
Work closely with engineering and production to align quality with delivery goals
-
Perform or review weld visual inspections and interpret NDE results
-
Support vendor quality and conduct occasional local inspections

Train, mentor, and evaluate QC inspectors and technicians
What You'll Need
-
3-5 years experience as a QC Manager or Supervisor in pressure vessel, boiler, or heat exchanger manufacturing
-
Strong knowledge of ASME Section IX, Section VIII Div. 1, and Appendix 13

Hands-on experience with welding, NDE, and pressure testing

Excellent organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Certifications
-
AWS CWI, NACE Level II, ASNT Level II (PT, MT, Film Interpretation), ASNT Level I (RT)
