Earth, Turf & Wood is looking for an elite Sales Professional, someone who doesn't just sell outdoor spaces, but sells a vision. If you're at your best when you're in front of a homeowner, reading the room, building trust fast, and turning a backyard dream into a signed agreement, this role was built for you.


You'll own the full sales cycle, from first site visit to final signature. That means meeting with motivated homeowners, uncovering what they truly want, and guiding them through a consultative process that delivers stunning, custom outdoor living spaces. You won't be pushing products. You'll be solving problems, building relationships, and delivering an experience that earns referrals for years.


You'll work alongside talented designers and production teams who execute at a high level. Your job is to be the client's trusted guide from concept to commitment. The better you are at building confidence and closing deals, the more your earning potential grows. There's an upside to what top performers here can make.

Compensation & Benefits

  • On target earnings: $120,000+ (base salary+bonus)

Compensation:

$120,000+ OTE


Responsibilities:

Sales & Client Development

  • Develop relationships with prospective and existing clients to generate new business opportunities
  • Conduct in-home consultations and initial client interviews using the company's sales process
  • Identify client goals, priorities, and investment levels to create customized outdoor living solutions
  • Perform detailed site analyses, measurements, and project assessments
  • Collaborate with Landscape Designers to develop concepts and proposals that meet client objectives
  • Prepare accurate project budgets and estimates for review
  • Present solutions, manage follow-up communication, and close sales opportunities
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with past clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Conduct project walkthroughs and post-installation follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction
  • Manage warranty follow-up communications when necessary

Project Coordination

  • Work closely with production teams to ensure seamless project handoff
  • Attend sales, production, and project meetings as required
  • Communicate project updates, add-ons, change orders, and client expectations to internal teams
  • Participate in pre-construction site visits to support successful project execution
  • Monitor project progress and maintain strong communication with clients throughout construction

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records and client communications within HubSpot CRM
  • Keep calendars, schedules, and project information organized and up to date
  • Create and maintain project files and documentation
  • Assist with contract administration, billing coordination, change orders, and completion documentation
  • Review and approve subcontractor invoices as required


Qualifications:

  • Proven sales success in landscape construction, outdoor living, home improvement, construction, or a related industry
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales goals
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and client service skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
  • Comfortable maintaining a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and Saturdays as needed to meet client and business needs
  • Willingness to work the hours necessary to achieve sales goals, support project success, and deliver an exceptional client experience
  • Experience or familiarity with landscaping, hardscaping, masonry, carpentry, drainage, irrigation, pools, or outdoor living construction is a strong advantage
  • Experience using landscape design or CAD software is helpful
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms is a plus
  • Strong connection to Lancaster County and the surrounding communities is highly valued
  • Familiarity with the local market, neighborhoods, and homeowner base is an advantage
  • Established community, business, or homeowner network is a plus
