Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support the Controller in financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement. This is a key role in our finance team, ideal for someone looking to grow with the company and contribute to building scalable financial systems and controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the general ledger, including month-end and year-end close processes
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll entries, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and account reconciliations
- Assist the Controller in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax preparers, and other financial consultants
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Support ERP or accounting software implementation and optimization
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff (as applicable)
• A minimum of 5 years of experience with general accounting functions
• Proficiency in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Strong knowledge of bank account reconciliation processes and financial reporting.
• Expertise in preparing journal entries and overseeing month-end close procedures.
• Experience in budgeting and financial planning.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities to manage and mentor a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
