Job DescriptionSalary: $15-20
This is a full-time position for the hours of approximately 8:30 a.m. 5:30 p.m. This is a floating teacher position to help cover teacher breaks during the middle of the day.
Provide continuous supervision and interaction with the children and to plan and participate in activities for small groups on a daily basis at a Spanish Immersion preschool under the supervision of lead teacher.
Essential Duties
1. Arrive promptly and remain for the specified time.
2. Supervise children constantly, never leaving them unattended.
3. Assist children when necessary with hygiene needs.
4. Assist children with assignments and activities.
5. Assist the lead teacher with providing all daily services and reports.
6. Provide assistance in distributing snacks, supplies, etc.
7. Refer serious discipline problems to the lead teacher.
8. Attend all staff meetings and training sessions related to program.
Minimum requirements
1. Native or near-native Spanish speaking
2. High School Diploma
3. Possess good oral and written communication skills
4. Ability to build positive relationships with students and parents of students in the program
5. Possess knowledge of the physical, mental, and emotional development of young children
6. Certification in Red Cross first aid and CPR/AED (We can help you get this)
7. Have a positive attitude toward working with young children and teammates
8. Meet state requirements for position
9. Coordinate planned activities as determined by the lead teacher.
Este es un puesto de tiempo completo para el horario de aproximadamente 8:30 a. m. a 5:30 p. m. Este es un puesto de maestro flotante para ayudar a cubrir los descansos y asistir a los maestros y necesidades esenciales del centro.
Brindar supervisin e interaccin continua con los nios y planificar y participar en actividades para grupos pequeos diariamente en un preescolar de inmersin en espaol bajo la supervisin de un maestro principal.
Deberes esenciales
1. Llegue puntualmente y permanezca el tiempo especificado.
2. Supervise a los nios constantemente, nunca los deje desatendidos.
3. Ayudar a los nios cuando sea necesario con las necesidades de higiene.
4. Ayudar a los nios con tareas y actividades.
5. Ayudar al maestro principal a proporcionar todos los servicios e informes diarios.
6. Brindar asistencia en la distribucin de refrigerios, suministros, etc.
7. Referir los problemas serios de disciplina al maestro principal.
8. Asistir a todas las reuniones de personal y sesiones de capacitacin relacionadas con el programa.
Requerimientos mnimos
1. Hispanohablantes nativos o casi nativos
2.Diploma de High School
3. Poseer buenas habilidades de comunicacin oral y escrita.
4. Habilidad para construir relaciones positivas con estudiantes y familias en el programa
5. Poseer conocimientos sobre el desarrollo fsico, mental y emocional de los nios pequeos.
6. Certificacin en primeros auxilios de la Cruz Roja y CPR/AED (Podemos ayudarte a conseguirlo)
7. Tener una actitud positiva hacia el trabajo con nios pequeos y compaeros de equipo.
8. Cumplir con los requisitos estatales para el puesto
9. Coordinar las actividades planificadas segn lo determine el maestro principal.
