Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist is needed at a school located in Sunnyvale, CA, with a focus on supporting students across a K-12 caseload. This contract position begins ASAP and runs through the end of the current school year, with the potential to extend into the following year if a permanent candidate is not found. The role is based onsite and serves primarily at a location near Morgan Hill, helping out at Mt. Pleasant.
Preferred candidates are bilingual, though this is not required. This opportunity offers a chance to work closely with students, families, and educators to assess and provide interventions that support academic success and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans
- Provide counseling and support services to students
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student needs
- Maintain accurate records and comply with applicable regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Bilingual skills preferred but not required
- Ability to work effectively onsite and collaboratively with school staff
