Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated and personable Receptionist to serve as the primary point of contact at our front desk. This Contract position is essential in maintaining the efficiency of daily office operations while ensuring visitors and staff have a seamless experience. Based in Portland, Oregon, this role offers an opportunity to contribute to a detail-oriented and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome guests with courtesy and ensure they are directed appropriately.
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage email correspondence.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and distribution.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area at all times.
• Coordinate meeting room bookings and assist with event preparations.
• Monitor and replenish office supplies, ensuring inventory is well-stocked.
• Liaise with vendors for office maintenance and service needs.
• Support additional administrative tasks as required by the team.
• Ensure seamless communication between departments and external contacts.
• Uphold a positive and friendly demeanor while managing daily tasks.• Proven experience in receptionist or front desk roles.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general office equipment.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on detail and professionalism.
• Experience with scheduling and coordinating appointments is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications are advantageous.
