We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation logistics, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining effective communication with drivers and clients. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Coordinate and schedule shipments, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.
- 7:00am-4:00pm Monday through Friday
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize transportation planning and logistics.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy in documentation.
- Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, including clients, drivers, and warehouse personnel.
- Perform data entry tasks to keep records updated and accurate.
- Monitor transportation operations to identify any issues or delays, implementing solutions as necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a dispatch or logistics role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of transportation planning principles and supply chain processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
- Experience in shipping and receiving operations is a plus.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
