- Education Requirements: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Wisconsin\n
- Certifications Requirements: BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS preferred\n
- Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience in a hospital setting\n
- Other Requirements: Ability to perform PIV starts, wound care, dressing changes, manage wound vacs, drains, chest tubes, and stable trach management; knowledge of patients on bipap/cpap; proficient in IV drips such as insulin and heparin; excellent communication skills; flexibility to float within scope of practice; professional appearance with solid color scrubs; reliable transportation and parking\n

Job Responsibilities\n

- Provide high-quality Med/Surg nursing care to a diverse patient population, ensuring patient safety and comfort\n
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, and manage wound vacs, drains, chest tubes, and stable trach assessments\n
- Administer IV drips such as insulin and heparin, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatments accordingly\n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including RT, hospitalist, OT/PT/ST, and CNA staff to coordinate patient care\n
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EPIC EMR system and adhere to hospital protocols\n
