Position: Inside Sales Manager
Pay Rate: $65,000 - $75,000
Hours: Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm in office
Location: Carlsbad, CA
Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts to assist the company in making sound business decisions and
maintain records of leads and actual sales
• Collaborate with the marketing department to ensure that the inside sales staff receive quality
leads to pursue
• Communicate regularly with the inside sales staff to make sure they are aware of previous,
current, and future sales goals and KPI’s, market conditions, updates to e-Comm site,
pricing, and status of said goals
• Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales
team
• Address and resolve customer needs, questions & concerns
• Evaluate current sales practices and procedures to determine whether they are effective in
generating sales and implementing improvements
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure maximum productivity including but not limited to
following up on existing leads, proactive new / existing customer communications (i.e. phone calls,
electronic communication), Olark support
• Recruiting, training, evaluating and supervising members of the inside sales team
Qualifications:
• Ability to develop and motivate talent with a focus on delivering the best customer experience
• Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
• Meet the quarterly, and annual sales goals for the department along with increasing branch
profits
• Strong analytical, organizational, time management, mathematical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics and Office Suite
*Must have fastener industry experience*
Education, Experience, Licenses, and Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience
• Minimum four years’ experience within a progressive sales environment with strong emphasis on
time management and sales pipeline growth & development
