Partners Professional is currently seeking experienced Patient Service Representative for our clients office located in Lawrenceville NJ. This position is being offered as a temp-to-hire role, on-site Monday through Friday with the set hours of 8:00-4:30. The main duty of this role is to communicate with various insurance companies/plans and their patients in processing their verification and creating work orders. In this role you will work closely with clinicians, physician offices, insurance companies and co-workers to ensure timely service to their patients.
Main responsiblities:
- Providing excellent customer service to all patients
- Data entry and preparation of orders
- Becoming versed and knowledgeable of various insurance company requirements and procedures
- Obtaining the proper documentation necessary for insurance companies / plans
- Verifying patient benefits and pre-certifying our services
- Assuring timely service to patients
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate all company computer and phone applications
Skills and Qualifications:
- Data entry -within a medical office setting, terminology, accuratey filling forms and documents
- Proficient with MS Outlook, Word and Excel
- Communicating professionally with appropriate business language and grammar-both verbally and written
- Handling sensitve, confidential information -Understanding HIPPA
- Meets deadlines, timeline driven, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Works independently, utilizing good judgement, making sound decisions
- Familiar wtith electronic filing, reporting, and other office tasks
- Knowledge of anatomy and medical coding a plus
