Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this contract role, you’ll be working across multiple locations, making a significant impact on developing young minds and enhancing their educational experiences through skilled occupational therapy services.
What You’ll Bring:
- Active Florida COTA license
- Experience working with school-aged children strongly preferred
- Adaptability and strong communication skills
- Confidence traveling within a large county (sites assigned before the school year begins)
- Ability to collaborate well with a diverse team of educators and therapists
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an OT to K–12 students
- Support students in achieving IEP goals and maximizing independence in the classroom
- Document interventions and progress in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Travel between assigned schools within the county to provide consistent therapy services
- Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and school staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary planning
- Help foster a positive, supportive learning environment for students at all ability levels
