UBS Builders is a premier general contracting firm specializing in high-end residential construction and historic renovation in New York City and the Hamptons. We are seeking a highly experienced, detail-focused Project Supervisor to lead on-site operations for complex, architecturally significant residences.

This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organization, and the ability to uphold the uncompromising quality standards expected in high-end residential construction.

Position Overview

The Project Supervisor is responsible for managing all daily on-site construction activities, coordinating subcontractors and internal teams, maintaining jobsite safety and quality control, and ensuring work is executed according to project plans, schedules, and client expectations.

You will work closely with the Project Manager, architects, designers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project progression and a professional jobsite environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations—from mobilization through final completion.
• Maintain strict adherence to jobsite safety protocols and OSHA standards.
• Review construction drawings and perform site layout, material take-offs/ordering, and quality checks.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and internal labor crews.
• Maintain a three-week look-ahead schedule and ensure on-site alignment with the project schedule.
• Assist in developing and maintaining the Microsoft Project master schedule.
• Prepare, submit, and track RFIs, site reports, and daily documentation.
• Support the Project Manager with submittals, meeting agendas, change orders, and job costing exercises.
• Ensure all work conforms to drawings, specifications, and high-end finish standards.
• Act as the on-site representative for inspectors, architects, engineers, designers, clients, and vendors.
• Proactively anticipate challenges and implement solutions before they impact schedule or quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite environment.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of on-site supervision experience in NYC high-end or custom residential construction.
• Deep understanding of architectural, MEP, and finish drawings.
• Experienced in the execution and understanding of high-end residential projects in Co-Op buildings.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to hold trades accountable to luxury-quality standards.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing fast-paced, complex job sites.
• Proficiency in construction management software; experience with Bluebeam and Procore a plus (willingness to train expected).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interface professionally with architects, designers, subcontractors, inspectors, and clients.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining composure and professionalism.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to work full-time on NYC project sites.
