RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Patient ratios: Days 1:4, Nights 1:5
\n• Care for adult and geriatric patients on 28-bed medical-surgical unit
\n• Must pass open book skills exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score to continue
\n• Weekend and holiday requirements vary per need
\n• May float to emergency department for 1:1 patient sitting as needed
\n• Charge nurse present on each shift with 1:10 patient ratio
\n• Nurse aids/patient care techs available with 1:10 patient ratio
\n• Classroom orientation plus one 12-hour shift on the floor
\n• Use EPIC charting system
\n• Must live outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with CommonSpirit facilities
\n• Driver's license required for distance verification
\n• Navy blue scrubs required
\n• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove leads to contract termination
\n• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
\n• Schedule managed by scheduler - no block scheduling
\n• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
