Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience in e-commerce and supply chain management is highly desirable.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Finds and hires carriers for customer designated loads
- Works with carriers to keep real time information and reports sent to customers
- Works with sales to provide market competing pricing
- Works with customer to book freight in a timely manner and meet deadlines
- Handles shipments door to door to ensure successful delivery
- Must be knowledgeable in logistics software to facilitate material movement, planning, and scheduling.
- Tracks shipments ensure accurate and up-to-date shipment information is being provided to customers.
- Ensures customer expectations are met or exceeded by completing accurate and timely scheduling/dispatching
- Other duties assigned by supervisor or Manager
Education And/or Experience
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED)
- High School diploma.
- 3 years’ experience in logistics, transportation brokerage, or related field.
Computer Skills
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with transportation management systems.
Language Skills
- English (reading, writing, verbal)
- Spanish ( reading , writing, verbal)
Mathematical Skills
- Position requires strong mathematical skills for pricing and negotiating.
Other Information
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
