Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students across all grade levels from Kindergarten through 12th grade in a school setting located in Chesapeake, VA. This full-time, contract position is available ASAP and continues through the end of the school year, offering a diverse K-12 caseload including elementary, middle, and high school students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy sessions tailored to each students unique needs across all grade levels.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings.
- Ability to manage a caseload spanning pre-school through 12th grade.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to adapt therapy approaches for students of varying ages and needs.
