Licensed Practical Nurse (Med Surg) travel assignment in Cordova, Alaska. Start date 04/27/2026 for 16 weeks. Guaranteed 36 hours per week on 12-hour rotating shifts. Weekly pay range $1,700–$1,775 per week. Setting: hospital floor covering med-surg and swing bed/acute inpatient care.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care on med-surg and swing bed/acute inpatient floors in a high-volume setting.
- Administer medications and IV therapies per policy; monitor responses and document outcomes accurately.
- Track patient status through vital signs, intake/output, and clinical changes; escalate deterioration promptly.
- Collaborate with licensed staff, physicians, case management, and therapy teams to plan and adjust patient care and discharge planning.
- Uphold infection control and safety standards; provide patient and family education as appropriate.
- Maintain complete, compliant charting and adhere to unit and facility policies.
Requirements
- Active Alaska LPN license
- IV certification
- ACLS and PALS required
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts in med-surg/acute inpatient settings
- Willingness to travel for a 16-week assignment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
