We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef/Cook to prepare authentic Peruvian dishes and contribute to a high-quality culinary experience. This role is ideal for someone with experience preparing Peruvian cuisine, though candidates with formal culinary training and strong foundational cooking skills are encouraged to apply even if they do not yet have direct experience with Peruvian dishes.
The ideal candidate is passionate about food, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of Peruvian dishes following established recipes and presentation standards

Assist with menu preparation, ingredient prep, and kitchen organization

Maintain consistent quality, taste, and portion control

Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are followed

Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service

Monitor ingredient freshness and assist with inventory management

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
Qualifications

Preferred: Experience preparing Peruvian cuisine or familiarity with traditional Peruvian ingredients and cooking techniques

Also considered: Candidates with formal culinary school training and strong cooking fundamentals

Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Experience with traditional dishes such as ceviche, lomo saltado, anticuchos, aji-based sauces, and other Peruvian specialties
