Hiring for Apprentice welders and Mechanical Assemblers
Job Description - $22-$26
We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler responsible for building and mounting grills with precision. This role involves incorporating components such as wipers, warning lights, backlighting, and headlights. You will also review blueprints to construct level bumpers, as well as charge, test, and evacuate air conditioning systems in line with build specifications. Additionally, the role requires the installation and wiring of electrical components including lights, speakers, and sirens, coupled with performing thorough running tests to ensure all systems are functioning correctly.
Responsibilities
- Build and mount grills with precision, incorporating various components.
- Review blueprints to construct level bumpers.
- Charge, test, and evacuate air conditioning systems as per build specifications.
- Install and wire electrical components such as lights, speakers, and sirens.
- Conduct thorough running tests to ensure all systems operate correctly.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management to support organizational goals.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in mechanical assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Competency in electrical assembly and tape measure reading.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in assembly line work is advantageous.

Work Environment
Work in a temperature-controlled environment on a 1st shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm or 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, depending on the supervisor. The role requires mandatory work on Fridays, with a typical workweek ranging from 45 to 50 hours. Enjoy working in a team setting with spacious work areas and all necessary tools provided.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00/hr.
