The City of O'Fallon, MO is looking to hire a full time Crew Leader for our Restoration Crew in the Water and Sewer department. Our Restoration Crewleader position earns a competitive hourly rate from $28.64 to $42.96 (top of grade) with an expected starting salary of $28.64.

As part of our Water and Sewer department, you will be responsible for supervising and participating in the work of an assigned crew of personnel engaged in the restoration and repair of city streets, sidewalks, yards, and related infrastructure. Generally, your schedule will be daytime hours Monday through Friday, but overtime hours may be required occasionally.
Responsibilities and duties include:
- Plans and organizes daily work assignments.
- Supervises and participates in the repair and restoration of city streets, sidewalks, and yards.
- Assesses work orders.
- Enforces safe work practices; establishes safe work zones.
- Operates a variety of equipment, including excavator, backhoe, and dump truck.
- Transports equipment and supplies to and from job sites.
- Notifies residents of repairs and addresses citizen concerns.
- Purchases materials and equipment.
- Supervises and participates in the maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
- Supervises and evaluates assigned personnel.
- Serves as backup to Water and Sewer crew needs, including but not limited to water main breaks, sewer blockages and lift station repair.
- Participates in snow removal operations.
- Performs related duties.

Requirements include:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to be on-call evenings and weekends and to work long hours outside in all types of weather conditions.
- Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid Class A CDL with a Tanker Endorsement issued by the State of Missouri. Paid CDL Training Program available to new hires that do not currently have a CDL. Possession of or ability to obtain a Class A Collections System Operator Certification or Class III Distribution Certification
- Able to work in confined spaces, as defined by OSHA
