Jarvis Law is a trusted elder law and estate planning firm with offices in Dublin, Lancaster, and St. Clairsville, Ohio. This role will be based in our St. Clairsville office, where we are expanding our care navigation services to further support our clients beyond legal planning.

About the Role
As a Social Worker at Jarvis Law, you will play a vital role in assisting families with elder care navigation. This position is ideal for a compassionate and resourceful individual who thrives in a client-facing, fast-paced environment. You will work closely with families, attorneys, and community partners to help clients make informed decisions about long-term care options. This position is great for a social worker who has worked in the elder care industry, a licensed practical nurse or a registered nurse who has worked in a social worker position in an elder care facility, a care plan specialist, or a licensed nursing home administrator who is looking for a normal 8-to-5 workday.
Key Responsibilities

Provide guidance and support to families as they navigate elder care options.

Participate in attorney-client meetings to assist in explaining care solutions and addressing concerns.

Research, recommend, and coordinate logistics for home care, assisted living, and nursing home placements.

Build and maintain relationships with local assisted living, nursing homes, and in-home care providers.

Advocate for families and their loved ones, ensuring they receive appropriate care and support.

Assist in developing and marketing the firm's care navigation services within the community.

Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and care recommendations.
Qualifications

Professional written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn our case management system.

A positive attitude and the ability to bring comfort and reassurance to families.
Education & Experience

Prior Case Management experience required. Social Worker experience is a plus.

A bachelor's or Master's Degree in social work is ideal.

At least two years of experience in a nursing home, hospice, or elder care setting.

At least five years of prior customer service experience.

Active registration/licensure as a Social Worker in the State of Ohio or the State of West Virginia, preferred.

Experience in elder care is highly preferred.

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $55,000 to $65,000
