  • Understands client deadlines
  • Scopes engagement, manages client expectations, ensure client satisfaction, and communicates upward
  • Monitors project due dates in Workstream and coordinates the timely delivery of all Outsourced Accounting Projects
  • Conducts self-review of work before submission to reviewer
  • Takes ownership of assignments and takes responsibility for service quality, thoroughness, and accuracy
  • Learns from mistakes and changes approach/actions
  • Acts in a professional manner at all times
  • Clearly articulates requests and questions to client; takes notes to avoid repeat request/questions
  • Maintains high level of organization (open items listing, PBC list, client files, workpaper)

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT/RELATIONSHIPS

  • Directs internal questions/issues to the appropriate levels/person
  • Builds effective working relationships with fellow team members
  • Proactively informs appropriate team members of work status and effectively communicates in weekly team meeting
  • Takes the initiative to be a team player and adapts to different personalities and working styles
  • Takes ownership of personal career goals and seeks out advisor within Firm to help achieve aspirations

  • Produces quality deliverables on time, in scope and within budget

  • Ability to manage workflow for on-time delivery

  • Analyzes client information and prepares financial statements

  • Understands payroll tax and accounting regulations and how they apply to each engagement
  • Understands limits of personal knowledge; asks questions and seeks assistance to clarify technical issues
