Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with ARRT (R) and advanced Mammography certification, NJ state license, and experience in digital breast imaging.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a dedicated mammography unit specializing in screening and diagnostic breast studies
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Rotating weekend requirement every fourth Saturday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- No floating to other units required
- Utilizes specialized digital mammography and 3D digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) equipment
- Patient population focused on breast disease screening and diagnosis
- Uses Epic charting system
- Duties include performing mammographic imaging, assisting with invasive breast procedures, and producing diagnostic images for early detection of breast disease
- RTO must be declared at time of application; block scheduling is not permitted
- First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
- Scrub color requirement is pewter/gray
- All candidates must complete labs within 48 hours of signing
- PA fingerprinting and Childline clearance required prior to start
- Candidates living within a 50-mile radius are accepted at a local rate

- Valid ARRT (R) certification and advanced Mammography credential required
- NJ state license required (pending NJ license accepted); license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mammography required
- FDA/MQSA qualification preferred, including 15 CEUs in mammography within 36 months
- Ability to perform both screening and diagnostic mammography and assist with invasive procedures
- Experience with digital mammography and 3D DBT technology
- EPIC charting experience preferred
- References and copies of certifications must be provided for consideration
