Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a school-based speech-language pathologist role where you'll provide vital support to students in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time, contract assignment spans multiple elementary schools, offering the chance to collaborate with dedicated colleagues and impact the development of young learners. Positions are available for credentialed SLPs and Clinical Fellows, providing an inclusive opportunity for both experienced practitioners and those starting their careers.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current MN SLP licensure with dual certification (please submit a PDF copy with your application)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are also encouraged to apply
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience is desirable
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide services to elementary students across one of the following campuses: Hamilton ES, Hoover ES, Madison ES, Ramsey ES, University Avenue ES, or Rum River (one full-time role at each school)
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Document progress, maintain required Medicaid and school documentation, and communicate results to parents, teachers, and staff
  • Offer consultation and intervention strategies to educators and families
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development
