Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare speech-language pathologist licensed in California is needed to provide essential therapy services within an elementary school setting in San Jose, CA. This contract opportunity offers a full-time, school year position helping students from kindergarten through 12th grade improve their communication skills.
Responsibilities include conducting speech and language assessments, developing individualized therapy plans, and delivering direct services to students. Services will be provided in-person within the school environment, supporting children with diverse communication needs. The role requires collaboration with educators and families to ensure integrated support for student progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy and knowledge of school-based protocols
- Familiarity with teletherapy methods is a plus, though primary focus is in-person school therapy
- Previous Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience appreciated but not mandatory
