Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Licensed Inpatient Therapist to join a multidisciplinary behavioral health team in an acute inpatient setting. This role focuses on stabilizing patients experiencing mental health crises while delivering comprehensive therapeutic services, discharge planning, and care coordination to support safe transitions back into the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy in an inpatient psychiatric setting.
- Conduct psychosocial assessments, screenings, and crisis interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and discharge plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and external providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment; adjust care plans as appropriate.
- Facilitate referrals to community resources, including housing, outpatient mental health services, and substance use programs.
- Deliver psychoeducation to patients and families to support recovery and long-term stability.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards.
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Active Montana license (LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT) or eligibility for licensure.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Strong clinical assessment and crisis intervention skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a behavioral health or healthcare setting.
- Prior experience in inpatient psychiatric or acute care environments.
- Knowledge of discharge planning and community resource coordination.
- Additional behavioral health certifications or specialized training.
