Position Overview
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care to clinic patients in accordance with established standards, policies, and scope of practice guidelines. This role serves as an important liaison between patients, providers, and clinic staff to support efficient clinic operations and quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain and document patient vital signs
- Triage patient phone calls and inquiries
- Process prescription refill requests
- Complete prior authorizations and related documentation
- Support daily clinic flow and patient care coordination
- Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Assist with coordination of support staff activities
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care
QualificationsRequired
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
- Current LPN license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred
- Previous outpatient or clinic experience
