MRI Technologist

Pay Range: $39–$46 per hour, based on registry experience (DOE)

We're seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate professional to perform high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) exams under the direction of our Lead Technologist, Technical Director, and Radiologists. This is a dynamic role ideal for individuals passionate about patient care, safety, and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform MRI scans in accordance with established protocols and physician instructions

Ensure patient safety and comfort, particularly in relation to MRI-specific contraindications (e.g., pacemakers, metal implants)

Apply knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI physics to obtain optimal diagnostic images

Utilize and understand RIS and PACS systems
-
Prepare and administer IV contrast agents safely and effectively
-
Maintain compliance with patient confidentiality, safety standards, and infection control protocols

Accurately complete documentation and consent forms
-
Respond appropriately to contrast reactions and medical emergencies

Support patients emotionally and explain procedures clearly

Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and hazard-free environment

Participate in cross-training and ongoing professional development

Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and emergency protocols

Take ownership of shift responsibilities and contribute to team success

Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-
ARRT or ARMRIT certification required
-
Prior experience in MRI required; CT or X-ray experience is a plus

Strong understanding of MRI safety and contraindications
-
Solid grasp of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols

Basic knowledge of sterile techniques

Current CPR certification required

Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Familiarity with patient rights and HIPAA compliance
