Dental Assistant
Oakland-Alameda Endodontics
California
Salary: $28 - $32 hr. DOE/E + $1,000 sign-on bonus (half paid out after 6 months of consecutive employment, other half paid out after 12 months of consecutive employment)
Benefits: Health Insurance, 401K profit sharing (after 1 year of employment), PTO, holidays, uniforms provided, private parking (Oakland office).
Full-Time| Monday - Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Prepare and set up treatment rooms for procedures.
· Welcome and assist patients, ensuring comfort throughout visits.
· Take and process dental x-rays.
· Assist the doctor during procedures (including suctioning and passing instruments).
· Clean, sterilize, and organize instruments and equipment.
· Document patient care and update records.
· Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
· Monitor and restock dental supplies as needed.
REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE:
· DA, Xray and CPR certification.
· 2+ years of dental assisting experience required.
· Excellent communication skills, high energy, and ability to multi-task.
· Team player with the ability to work cooperatively with referring dental offices, other staff members, and patients.
· Self-starter with the skills to prioritize, organize, and complete tasks in a timely and independent manner.
· Must have a natural drive to grow professionally within the role and learn from constructive feedback.
· Fast learner with the ability to grasp relevant concepts regarding duties and responsibilities.
· Maintain composure and professionalism when exposed to stressful situations.
