Title: Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Night Shift 7:00pm – 7:00am)
Location: Las Vegas, NM

Job Description:
The Staff Pad has partnered with a hospital in Las Vegas, NM to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join their Med Surg team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.

  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.

  • Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.

  • Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.

  • Record patients' medical information and vital signs.

  • Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.

  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.

  • Prepare patients for, and assist with, examinations and treatments.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN is preferred.

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Med Surg environment is preferred.

  • Current New Mexico RN License.

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
