A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Pharmacy Assistant in Fort Worth, TX. The Pharmacy Assistant would be working for a Fortune 500 healthcare company with strong growth potential and the opportunity to convert to a full-time employee. This would be full-time / 40+ hours per week.

Pharmacy Assistant Compensation
- $18.50 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Pharmacy Assistant Highlights
- Contract assignment with potential for permanent hire based on attendance, performance, and business needs
- Onsite position in Fort Worth, TX
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional Tuesday–Saturday rotation when scheduled
- Monthly team lunches/breakfasts, birthday celebrations, holiday celebrations, and major holidays off
Pharmacy Assistant Responsibilities
- Prepare medications for shipment to ensure integrity, sterility, and stability
- Follow designated packaging and shipping checklists with strong attention to detail
- Review shipping manifests daily to confirm delivery address and timing accuracy
- Coordinate patient communications via approved package inserts
- Restock pharmacy medications and shipping supplies; rotate ice packs and coolers
- Reconcile shipping supply packing slips and carrier invoices for billing accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized packing and storage area (disinfecting, vacuuming, organizing inventory)
- Secure pharmacy, packing, and storage areas at the end of each business day
- Lift and move packages weighing up to 25 pounds
- Work on feet for up to 95% of the shift
Pharmacy Assistant Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Fundamental computer knowledge including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours per shift
- Strong multitasking and observation skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to work morning and/or afternoon shifts
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Pharmacy Assistant Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of mail service or specialty pharmacy experience
- Inventory management experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Continuous improvement mindset
