Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher with experience in self-contained ESE classrooms. The role involves working with students across various grade levels, including early childhood, elementary (K-5), middle school (grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12), providing individualized support to meet each student's unique learning needs.

Position Type: Contract, School Setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction within self-contained special education classrooms to support students with diverse learning profiles.
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
- Maintain classroom behavior while ensuring curriculum objectives are met effectively.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to optimize learning outcomes.
- Communicate with parents, support staff, and administration regarding student development and needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Florida Educators Certificate appropriate to assignment: K-6 for Elementary or K-12 for Middle/High School Special Education.
- Demonstrated experience working in self-contained ESE classrooms.
- Proficiency with the IEP and BIP processes.
- Strong classroom management skills combined with the ability to meet curriculum goals simultaneously.
