Position: RN-NICU-Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU.

• Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report changes promptly.

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.

• Evaluate and improve nursing practices based on performance metrics.

• Educate families on neonatal care and health management.

• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.

• Engage in quality assurance activities to enhance patient care.

• Utilize technology and tools to track patient progress and outcomes.

• Assist in the orientation and training of new nursing staff.

• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.

Experience/Qualifications

• Current RN license in California with NICU experience.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Strong ability to monitor and assess neonatal patients' conditions.

• Strong adherence to safety and infection control protocols.

• Experience in developing and implementing care plans collaboratively.

• Ability to educate families on neonatal care effectively.

• Ability to engage in team meetings and discussions about patient care.

• Proficiency in using technology for patient tracking and documentation.

• Experience in quality assurance activities to enhance patient care.

• Willingness to assist in training and orienting new nursing staff.
