Quality Control Manager
Midwest Holding LLC, a rapidly growing financial services holding company, seeks a highly analytical, hands-on, and energetic team player to join us as Quality Control Manager. We operate as a modern insurance-holding company focused on long-term growth. We aim to foster and cultivate our relationships to sell and administer annuity products through third-party independent marketing organizations (IMOs).
Summary/Objective
The Quality Control Manager oversees the day-to-day activities of the Quality Control team. This role is responsible for ensuring that all annuity transactions and policy documentation are reviewed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Essential Functions
- Manage daily QC operations, including work distribution, reviews, and reporting.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of QC Specialists and Analysts.
- Monitor quality trends and drive process improvements in partnership with leadership.
- Develop and maintain QC procedures, audit tools, and metrics reporting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with compliance, training, and operations to align on standards.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal policy requirements.
- Present QC findings and recommendations to senior management.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; additional certifications (e.g., LOMA) a plus.
- 5+ years in annuity operations, QA, or financial services with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead capacity.
- Strong knowledge of annuity products, processing standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with workflow systems or policy admin platforms (e.g., FAST, Chorus) preferred.

Work Environment
Works in an office environment but may need to travel occasionally for training or meetings. This is a full-time position, with typical business hours of 8 am-5 pm, Monday-Friday. Additional hours may be required during peak periods or to meet deadlines. The manager may need to be available occasionally for on-call support outside of regular business hours in case of urgent matters.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position currently manages 1 QC team of Specialists and Associates
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and communicate with others. This may be over the phone, in person, or through email and messaging. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours as needed to complete work and ensure operations/business is not interrupted or slowed.
Travel
No regular travel is expected for this position.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
