We are an established company in business for over 90 years and we are looking to add an experienced BOOKKEEPER to our team on Long Island!

Responsibilities:
· Prepare and examine records, financial statements, and other financial reports;
· Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets, general accounting analysis;
· Interface with the management team and other departments as needed;
· Bank reconciliations;
· Accurately review and analyze bank statements to help identify any discrepancies and ensure all transactions are accounted for in an expeditious manner;
· Create and maintain excellent files;
· Interface with third parties as necessary
Qualifications & Skills:
· Bachelor’s Degree required
· 2+ years of relevant experience
· Must be proficient with basic Microsoft office software (excel, word, outlook)
· Extremely detail oriented
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Detail and deadline oriented
· Someone who thrives in a high-paced environment
· Ideal candidate will have worked in real estate or property management, but not necessary.
