Job SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Mail Clerk to handle the distribution and processing of incoming and outgoing mail and faxes. This role includes document preparation tasks such as folding and inserting documents into envelopes, along with basic computer data entry. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong time management skills, and demonstrate consistent punctuality and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, distribute, and manage incoming and outgoing mail and faxes
- Fold and insert documents into envelopes for mailing
- Use basic computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) to track and log mail activity
- Perform tasks that involve frequent sitting, standing, and walking
- Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs with assistance
- Maintain organized and efficient mailroom operations
- Collaborate with team members to meet time-sensitive deadlines
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Comfortable performing physical tasks, including lifting, standing, and walking
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a positive, adaptable attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a mailroom, clerical, or administrative support role
