Position Summary

Greater Western Plumbing is seeking a highly skilled Journeyman Plumber to lead and execute complex commercial projects across the 470 Circle. This is not a standard service role; it focuses on large-scale installations, system replacements, and high-stakes commercial construction where precision and code compliance are paramount.

Core Requirements & Qualifications

• Licensing: Valid Colorado Journeyman Plumber License (in good standing).
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years specifically within the commercial sector.
• Technical Mastery: * Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and MEP drawings.
• • Proficiency in soldering, brazing, and joining various pipe materials (Copper, PEX, Cast Iron, PVC).
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial water heaters, boilers, and backflow prevention.
• Compliance: Comprehensive understanding of current IPC (International Plumbing Code) and local Colorado amendments.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution: Lead commercial "ground-up" builds and major tenant improvements (TI) with minimal supervision.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve hydraulic and structural plumbing issues in high-occupancy environments.
• Quality Control: Ensure all installations meet Greater Western’s standards of "Simplicity in Service"—functional, clean, and built to last.
• Mentorship: Assist in the professional development of apprentices and helpers on-site.
