CW EDUCATION
· Plan and develop activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in the classroom.
· Provide activities and opportunities that encourages curiosity, exploration, and problem-solving appropriate to the development levels of the children.
· Prepare in advance and implement the planned curriculum activities.
· Document the children’s curriculum experience through displays and pictures.
· Conduct ongoing assessments and collect work samples and documentation for child’s portfolio.
· Establish routines and use positive and constructive guidance methods to reinforce appropriate behavior.
· Understand child development and document early childhood development milestones.
· Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
CW SPIRIT
· Work cooperatively and effectively as a team member by communicating and contributing information on a continuous basis.
· Demonstrate behavior that is professional, ethical, and responsible.
· Follow CWS teacher dress code.
· Attend monthly teaching staff team meetings.
· Continue professional development through attending workshops, conferences, and other staff meetings.
· Track personal licensing in-service requirements and ensure compliance.
· Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
CW ROUTINES
· Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in regard to scheduling to support the needs of the children and the school.
· Report issues with child attendance flow in regard to appropriate supervision.
· Maintain classroom supplies and communicate needs to Leadership.
· Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
CW RELATIONSHIPS
· Participate in New Family Orientation.
· Utilize CW App to maintain positive formal and informal communication with families.
· Report to Director or Leadership Team any special needs or concerns with children or families.
· Maintain confidentiality of children and families, as needed.
· Attend school family activities including meet and greets, festivals, and curriculum nights.
· Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
CW ENVIRONMENT
· Ensure children are supervised at all times.
· Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for young children according to CWS and state licensing standards.
· Maintain classroom recordkeeping and maintain all required recordkeeping for entire school such as transition sheets, daily sheets, medication forms, portfolio and assessments, accident and incident reports, biting logs, accident logs, playground inspections, etc.
· Perform general custodial responsibilities for the classroom and school common spaces.

....................................................................................................................................PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
· Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).
· Ability to see children and their environment and hear all types of sounds.
· Ability to maintain emotional control under stress.
· Ability to routinely lift up to 40 pounds, move furniture, sit on the floor or child sized furniture, and sustain long hours of active work such as bending, standing, or walking.
· Willingness to work in environment where you may come in contact with children who are ill and/or contagious. Prepared to handle accidents and emergencies at any time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICIATIONS
· Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma.
· Must meet the state licensing requirements for a teacher.
. Minumim of 45 state hour tranning
· BA or AA Degree or CDA in the early childhood field preferred.
· Undergo required background checks and screenings.
. Complete Creative World requirements once hired.
