Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is based in Colorado Springs, CO, and focuses on serving a middle school caseload for the full school year.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in middle school
- CFY (Clinical Fellow Year) candidates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other specialists
Location:
- Colorado Springs, CO
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload
- Provide direct therapy to students requiring speech and language intervention
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to facilitate students' communication needs
- Monitor and document students' progress and adjust therapy as needed
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
