Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for an experienced Cath Lab Technician to support a high-acuity level 1 hospital setting. This contract role offers a chance to engage in advanced cardiovascular procedures within a dynamic healthcare environment, contributing directly to patient care alongside skilled Interventional Cardiologists and Electrophysiology Physicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures by scrubbing, monitoring, and providing technical support.
- Operate and maintain cath lab equipment to ensure procedural success and patient safety.
- Collaborate closely with the cardiology team to prepare and monitor patients during interventions.
- Follow strict aseptic techniques and adhere to hospital protocols throughout all procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs during procedures and recognize any signs of discomfort or complications.
Desired Experience:
- Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technician with CVT (Cardiovascular Technician) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification.
- Skilled in assisting Interventional Cardiologists and Electrophysiology Physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures.
- Able to scrub and work efficiently in a fast-paced cath lab environment within a level 1 facility.
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and instrumentation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
