Our client, a respected business consulting firm with a global presence, is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join their team. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in finance and accounting who excel in managing the day-to-day financial transactions and supporting the overall financial health of an organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions by establishing accounts and posting transactions.
- Reconcile accounts, prepare bank deposits, and manage accounts payable/receivable activity.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles and company policies.
- Prepare financial reports for management review.
- Assist with payroll processing and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate effectively with internal team members and external clients.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance/accounting role.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of GAAP is a plus.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to perform payroll functions and handle payroll taxes accurately.
• Skilled in reconciling accounts and maintaining general ledger records.
• Familiarity with accounts payable processes and payment coding.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong communication skills, including answering inbound calls professionally.
