Duties & responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician
- Monitor residents' vital signs and overall health and reporting changes to care team
- Perform routine nursing procedures: wound care, catheter care, and injections
- Assist in the development and implementation of resident care plan
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and community policies
- Provide support and education to residents and their families regarding health conditions and care
- Assist with admissions and discharge procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care provided
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong clinical skills and attention to details
- Compassionate and empathetic with commitment to quality care
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good verbal and written communication
- Dependable with strong problem-solving abilities
Physical requirement:
- Frequent standing, walking and lifting
- Ability to lift up to 40 Pounds
Tools & Equipment:
- BP Cuffs, Stethoscopes, Glucose monitors
- EMR Systems
