We are seeking a motivatedentry-level Healthcare Business Analyst to support business analysis, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives across healthcare operations and systems. This role is ideal for recent graduates interested in healthcare, analytics, and working with cross-functional teams including clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.


You will help translate business needs into clear requirements, analyze healthcare data, and support initiatives that improve efficiency, quality, and outcomes.


This role is based in our Newark, Delaware offices conveniently located near 131 Continental Drive, Suite 409. We are focused on team participation and commit to working a Full-Time schedule in our Newark office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements
  • Assist with process mapping, workflow analysis, and documentation
  • Analyze healthcare data and create reports or dashboards
  • Support healthcare operations initiatives (e.g., Value-based care, quality, patient flow)
  • Collaborate with IT, clinical, and business teams
  • Support system implementations, enhancements, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Prepare documentation, presentations, and project updates


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Public Health, or related field
  • Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, formulas, data analysis)
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or data querying concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship, co-op, or academic project experience in healthcare or analytics
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems, terminology, and workflows
  • Exposure to BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Awareness of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, 21 CFR)
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar tools

Travel:

Travel to client locations is primarily local during the business day, although some occasional out of the area/overnight travel may be expected.
