Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Windsor, Connecticut. In this role, you will support fund development activities for a non-profit organization, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication with donors and sponsors. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful fundraising initiatives in a focused and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
• Draft and send thank-you notes to donors and sponsors in a timely manner.
• Track and manage sponsor information, including benefits and follow-up activities.
• Maintain accurate records related to fundraising activities and donor interactions.
• Assist in coordinating communication with potential donors and sponsors.
• Leverage social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn to support outreach efforts.
• Provide administrative support to fund development projects and initiatives.
• Respond to inbound calls and inquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Ensure a high level of attention to detail when managing data entry tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance fundraising strategies and donor engagement.
• Uphold high standards in all interactions and communications.• Proficiency in using social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Strong technical skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in administrative assistance or related roles.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with fundraising or non-profit environments is a plus.
• Reliable and consistent in meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
