Job DescriptionLHH is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located in the Greater Indianapolis Area. In this role, you will drive hands-on engineering work that directly elevates product quality, reliability, and on-time delivery. The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $85-95K per year and includes comprehensive benefit and insurance plans, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and equipment for manufacturing operations.

· Oversee installation and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure reliable performance.

· Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical solutions into production processes.

· Prepare technical documentation, schematics, and reports for ongoing projects.

· Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and industry regulations.

· Analyze system performance and recommend improvements for enhanced productivity.

· Support automation and process control initiatives within the facility.

· Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive maintenance strategies.

· Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities.

· Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance and production staff.

· Evaluate new technologies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

· Assist with procurement and specification of electrical components and materials.

· Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

· Maintain accurate records of system modifications and upgrades.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, STEM focused degree is preferred.

· Minimum of 3+ years of electrical engineering experience within the manufacturing industry is required.

· Ideal candidates will have experience with root-cause analysis and structured problem-solving.
