What You'll Need:
\n
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential via CCI required.
- ARRT (R) certified Radiologic Technologist required. If ARRT (R) is not held, candidate must obtain Colorado fluoroscopy license; processing time is approximately one week.
- ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) required.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting with solid STEMI and cardiovascular lab technician skills.
- Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
- Ability to work in a busy hybrid Cath/EP environment and assist in scrub, monitor, and circulating roles.
- Must meet facility radius and driver’s license submission requirements as part of credentialing.
- Orientation: department-specific orientation required; orientation hours: 12.
- Preferred: experience with STEMI, cardiogenic shock, CAD, PAD, and atrial arrhythmia cases.

Assignment Details

- Facility type: Hospital.
- Unit: Cath Lab Tech - RCIS; environment includes 2 cath suites, 2 EP labs, and 1 hybrid suite.
- Typical case volume: 10–20 cases per day.
- Shift name: Days.
- Shift schedule: Days 0700–1700, structured as 4x10-hour shifts.
- Call requirements: Weeknight call 1–2 times per week; weekend call 2 per 6-week pay cycle; holiday call required. Call response time: 30 minutes.
- Cardiologist on-call frequency: approximately 8–10 calls per 6-week pay period.
- Floating requirements: may be required to float within the department and, in extreme need, to facilities within the local zone (floating limited to zone; no specific facility names provided).
- Orientation week: clinicians must be in-state for orientation week even if initial modules are remote.
- Scheduling model: self-scheduling allowed with 4x10 block scheduling.
