This opportunity is ideal for a Registered Nurse looking to broaden their expertise in Interventional Radiology. Working in a specialized unit featuring four state-of-the-art procedure rooms and advanced Meditech/MacLab EMRs, you'll gain valuable insight into complex procedures such as interventional cardiac, structural heart, neuro, and peripheral vascular interventions. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, sharpen your clinical decision-making skills, and enhance your résumé by adopting best practices from leaders in the field. With a balanced workweek and minimal floating, you can focus on providing exceptional patient care while enjoying professional growth.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday
- 7:00am – 5:30pm
Required Experience & Skills:
- Active RN license with current BLS/ACLS certifications
- Demonstrated experience in a cath lab setting
- Cardiac and IR/Neuro procedural expertise
- Strong communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior IR/Special Procedures experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care throughout pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure phases
- Collaborate with physicians and cardiovascular technologists
- Operate advanced imaging and monitoring equipment
- Participate in structural and neurovascular interventions
- Uphold rigorous safety and infection control standards
