CMM Programmer | Delta Township, MI
Salary Range: $58,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, debug, and optimize CMM inspection programs.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T requirements for programming.
- Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections using CMMs.
- Analyze inspection data and generate comprehensive reports.
- Maintain and update existing CMM programs for engineering changes.
- Troubleshoot CMM hardware, software, and programming issues.
- Collaborate on the design and development of CMM fixtures.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
- Strong understanding and practical application of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and technical specifications.
- Experience with CMM operation, setup, and routine maintenance.
- Knowledge of metrology fundamentals and measurement uncertainty.
Bonus Qualifications
- Proficiency with additional metrology equipment (e.g., vision systems, laser scanners).
- Experience with 3D CAD modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) for design or fixture creation.
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles and software.
- ASME GDTP certification or equivalent advanced GD&T training.
